In 1981 a small butcher shop opened with the goal of providing quality meats to the residents of Bakersfield. The community was appreciative and grateful for the specialty prepared items they were able to take home and share with their friends and family. Soon, word got out and people would travel for miles for the experience.
A deli was added and through the years has grown from serving a handful of sandwiches, to over two dozen varieties. The “Mervburger” became a huge success and has repeatedly been hailed the “Best Burger” in town by food critic, Pete Tittl. Homestyle BBQ became popular which created an added interest. As a result, there became more of a demand for catering.
Prime Cut has a fun vibe which makes it easy to relax. It is our hope that you will find our friendly atmosphere a comfortable place to dine, enjoy and celebrate and sing Karaoke.
We do Karaoke every Friday night starting at 9pm with our awesome host DJ Ed Hayes. Come on down and sing with us!
