The annual “Road to the Fair” Karaoke Contest will start at Rocket Shop Cafe on July 10th.  Each Saturday for the next five weeks, Rocket Shop will choose one male and one female nightly contest winner.  These finalists will move on in the competition, eventually deciding who will represent Rocket Shop Cafe in the Karaoke Showdown Contest 2010 at Kern County Fair.   Over $40,000 in cash and prizes will be handed out for this contest – including a $500 CASH prize for the Top Male & Top Female Vocalist of the Year at the Fair.  The contest is open to all ages.  For more information, stop by Rocket Shop Cafe on Saturday starting at 8:30pm.
